- I inherited a Mimetics framegrabber, the provided software has
- difficulty surviving my CPU/RAM settings, I suppose -
-
- 1) "Framebuffer" interactive frame-grabbing. It worked on
- an A3000 with 3Meg Ram (2meg in chip, 1meg on-board) but locks
- up on a SC-Zip etc. system.
-
- I haven't yet tried the CPU NOCACHE etc. stuff, it's also pretty
- funky because its not font-sensitive and so doesn't display well.
-
- The non-interactive CLI program seems to command ok, but not all
- options I'd like are available.
-
- 2) In any case, when I get a frame I'd like to pull it into my paint
- program TVPaint(jr) or DCTV, so I suppose I need a FAQ on the variously
- flavored files these use and how to convert them to ILBM.
-
- 3) Is there driver plug-ins for this board that go with other
- image-manipulation pgms? Are there technical specs to program it?
